The study of extragalactic astronomy is one of the most widely research topics in recent years. The group studies the structure, formation and evolution of galaxies, galaxy clusters, galaxy environments and large scale structure of universe. The group works with international projects data such as XXL, GAMA, CFHTLS, DES, Euclid, SDSS and astronomical archived data. Our group also works in DAG(Eastern Anatolian Telescope project). The group can develop algorithms and programs in big archived astronomical data and use the high performance computing (HPC) architectures.
